Travelescape journeys are not tours.

They are small gatherings of people who want to experience places slowly — without the performance that travel has come to require. No content agenda. No highlight reel. Just the actual experience of being somewhere, with a small group who chose to be there for the same reasons.

Each journey is built around a felt theme rather than a destination. The place is a backdrop. What happens between people, and between a person and a place, is the point.

Monasteries, stillness, and the sound of one's own thoughts. Twelve days through Paro Valley, Bhutan — moving between ancient dzongs, high-altitude villages, and long stretches of landscape that ask nothing of you except attention.

Not everyone wants to travel in a group of strangers. Some journeys are better taken alone, with a partner, or with family. What they still deserve is the same level of curation — a journey designed around who you are and what you actually want from travel, rather than what the algorithm recommends.

Private Curation is a quiet offering. I work with a small number of individuals and families each year to design journeys that fit their particular way of moving through the world. I draw on ground-level contacts — people who run small guesthouses, local guides who don't appear on TripAdvisor, artisans and farmers who will welcome you because they trust the person who sent you.

I have direct contacts in Bhutan, Spiti, parts of the northeast, and a growing network across India. If you have a place in mind and want someone to design the right version of that journey for you — not the tourist version, the real one — this is what Private Curation offers.

This is not a travel agency service. I do not take commissions from properties or operators. The curation fee covers my time, judgment, and the network of contacts that makes a journey genuinely different from one you could plan yourself.
