Travelescape is an independent travel journal from India, written by Nilabh Ranjan in Bangalore. For ten years it has published first-hand travel writing: 350 practical guides and travelogues, and now slow, reflective essays about the parts of travel that itineraries leave out. In 2026 it removed all advertising and pop-ups and rebuilt itself as a quiet, fast, privacy-first site, with a monthly discussion where readers answer one travel question together. Its small-group journeys continue as TE Journeys.
